Welcome to Spirit World!

Quick note: If you're using Chrome, the game may seem slow. This likely means you've disabled "hardware acceleration". Chrome wants you to turn that back on to run a browser game like this! You can re-enable in Chrome settings.

Basic controls:

• W, A, S, D: Move
• Space: Dash
• Left-click: Quick Attack
• Right-click: Strong Attack
• Shift -> Left-click: Ranged Attack
• Shift -> Right-click: Shield
• Tab (or button in top left): Open backpack/inventory
• T: Text chat

Now, then, some important information! If you've ended up here, you've arrived at a pre-pre-pre-alpha of Spirit World, an online multiplayer game that's currently in development. In its current form, the game represents a multi-month effort by a sole developer/creator (hi that's me).

The game is in a very early form, which means everything might break, the server might crash, there may be bugs or unintended visual hiccups, but there are still some things to do!

Things to do in Spirit World:

1. Try your hand at combat. Find the dungeons to the East of Town center. The easiest dungeon will be South of the path, the more difficult and fully fleshed out dungeon North of the path. Good luck!
2. Upgrade your gear. If walk over to the South-West, you'll find the Fairgrounds, where townsfolk are selling upgrades for combat. Enemies drop money, and arcade games give money sometimes, too!
3. Mess around with some minigames in the Arcade. Feel free to try these out. One needs two players, the other is single player. Both of these are best played on an ethernet connection for now! Some further works needs to be done making them more Wifi friendly.
4. Talk to townsfolk, or purchase clothing. You'll find the clothing shop on the Eastern side of town center.
